The Tangram Restaurant is situated in the beautiful surrounds of the Durbanville Hills Wine Farm.

The Tangram Restaurant with it’s chic décor, is situated on the second floor of the tasting cellar. The ambience is wonderfully inviting and comfy. Beautiful vineyards and olive trees are your pleasurable surroundings. The decor is light and contemporary with a double volume ceiling, wood finishes and earthy tones.
The Tangram offers panoramic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, the rolling hills and vineyards.
I ordered the Fish | Collectors Chardonnay, a delicious Kingklip with masala spiced, buttered baby potatoes, cucumber raita and Asian slaw.
My partner had Salom | Collectors Sauvigon Blanc with beetroot cured, avocado puree, pickled onion, croutons and herb dressing.
Dessert was lemon cream, caramelized white chocolate crumb, dark chocolate and honeycomb ice cream.
Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful, “ unpretentious yet sophisticated.”
The restaurant trades from Tuesday to Sunday. Tuesday to Sunday: Breakfast/Brunch is served from 8:30am to 11:00am.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 3:00pm.
Dinner is served Thursday to Saturday from 6pm until 9pm and last rounds are served at 10pm.
The menu has a variety of starters, salads, steaks, seafood and desserts.
I highly recommend this restaurant, not only is the food delicious, the atmosphere and the views of our beautiful city and Table Mountain are spectacular.
Reservations are recommended as this is a popular eatery.
